Publication Ethics

At Digital Evolution Journal, we are deeply committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity in scholarly publishing. Our ethical guidelines are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and respect for all parties involved in the publication process. These guidelines are based on the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authorship and Originality

Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and has not been published elsewhere. All individuals who have made a significant contribution to the research should be listed as co-authors.

Originality

Manuscripts must be the original work of the authors.

Plagiarism

We use advanced plagiarism detection tools to screen all submissions. Any manuscript found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected. This includes self-plagiarism.

Data Integrity

Authors must present accurate and reliable data. Fabrication or falsification of data is a serious breach of ethics. Authors may be asked to provide the raw data in connection with a paper for editorial review.

Duplicate Submission

Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable.

Author's Responsibilities

Reporting Standards

Authors of reports of original research should present an accurate account of the work performed as well as an objective discussion of its significance.

Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects

If the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use, the author must clearly identify these in the manuscript.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.

Peer Reviewer Responsibilities

Peer reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the quality of our publications. We expect our reviewers to be objective, constructive, and timely in their evaluations.

Confidentiality

Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential documents.

Objectivity

Reviews should be conducted objectively, with no personal criticism of the authors.

Conflict of Interest

Reviewers should disclose any potential conflicts of interest and recuse themselves from the review process if necessary.

Promptness

Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its prompt review will be impossible should notify the editor and excuse himself from the review process.

Editorial Responsibilities

Our editorial team is responsible for making final decisions on all manuscripts. These decisions are based on the manuscript's quality, originality, and relevance to our journal's scope.

Fair Play

An editor at any time evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.

Confidentiality

The editor and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.

Decision on the Publication of Articles

The editor of the journal is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published.

Corrections and Retractions

We are committed to correcting errors in published work and will issue corrections or retractions as needed to maintain the integrity of the academic record. Authors who discover a significant error or inaccuracy in their own published work have an obligation to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
